Norbert Leclair

Scientist III Genentech

Norbert LeClair is a Research Scientist at Genentech within the Biochemical and Cellular Pharmacology department. He brings over two decades of experience, specializing in the development of in vitro and ex vivo assays for novel target discovery, drug discovery campaigns, and the investigation of biologic mechanisms of action. His work has directly supported the advancement of several molecules toward clinical development. Prior to joining Genentech six years ago, he had been a researcher at UCSF, Five Prime Therapeutics, and Rinat Neuroscience. Norbert holds an MS in Engineering Physics from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and a BS in Biology from the University of Vermont.
